01 — Overview About the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab
The AU-EU Youth Voices Lab — Power of the Collective is a four-year initiative co-funded by the European Union, running from March 2024 to February 2028. Implemented by a consortium of five internationally recognised organisations like Oxfam, Restless Development, Search for Common Ground, Youthmakers Hub and ComDev Africa — the programme envisions a society where youth engagement, empowerment and connection actively drive policy-making at local, national, continental and cross-continental levels.
Operating across all 54 African countries, the programme aims to train 24,000 young people aged 15–35 on advocacy-related skills and to establish a digital platform that meaningfully integrates youth voices into the AU-EU Partnership at all levels.
